What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is The Lion King.
What is your favorite children's book?
Junie B Jones because of the relatable characters and experiences. It made us feel understood and represented.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were an Easy-Bake Oven and dollhouses.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My mother is my greatest inspiration because she embodies the qualities that I want to embody. She has endured many hardships but has never complained. Every setback she has faced has only made her stronger. She is a true caretaker and has always put her children's feelings before herself. She is who I strive to be, and I pray I am half the mother she is.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and friends.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I enjoy working with children. I enjoy seeing them grow up and reaching all their milestones.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I am easy going and compassionate. I take the time to listen to everyone and make sure everyone's visit is personable. Be sure to always ask about their loved ones and things outside of their health.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
Ensuring they have everything they need to improve their activities of daily living. Sign necessary paperwork and prescribe needed DME.
