What is your favorite children's book?

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with family, chaperoning my daughter and her friends on outings, reading fantasy and science fiction novels
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Family medicine is a call to serve others by caring for individuals, families, and the community. Being a family physician allows me to care for patients of all ages from birth through adulthood. I am passionate about educating patients to promote their overall health and well-being during all stages of their lives.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I endeavor to listen to every patient's unique story to best inform them about health behaviors, to make shared decisions about treatments considering their concerns and priorities, and to inspire optimism and courage to manage chronic health conditions. It is a privilege to guide others on the path to improving and maintaining their health, to be a force for positive change in their and their family's lives.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I accommodate patients with special needs by providing personalized and accessible care. I tailor communication and treatment to each patient’s abilities, allow extra time for visits, ensure a comfortable environment, and work closely with families and specialists to support their needs.
