What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is Beauty and the Beast.
What is your favorite children's book?
My favorite book series is The Chronicles of Narnia.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood games were Super Nintendo games, especially Yoshi’s Island.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspiration is Stephen Hawking.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
My hobbies and interests include playing piano, listening to music, jogging, writing, and learning about technology.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I love children's joy, playfulness, and trust. I am passionate about treating vape use in adolescents. I enjoy topics of mental health, subtance use, and motivating young adults into carreers of medicine and science.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I have written a book on diabetes technology, topics of cancer in geriatrics. I am a genetics professor at a University where I teach at the graduate level. I am interested in all genetic related topics. I enjoy technology and helping patients of all ages stop smoking. Also I have written about sickle cell, and artificial intelligence.
